Cosmetics manufacturing and distribution company Markwins International Corporation has agreed to take two units totalling 30,690 sf on a 10-year lease at £260,865 ($417,000) per annum, or £8.50 ($13.60) per sf. There is a six-month rent free period and the tenant has a break option in July 2010.
Markwins is an existing tenant of Brixton at the fully let Church StreetIndustrial Estate in Staines, Middlesex. As part of the agreement Brixton will be taking an early surrender of Markwins' lease of its 9,374 sq ft unit, which had seven years unexpired at a passing rent of £86,350 ($138,000) per annum.
Five more industrial/warehouse units totalling 68,000 sf remain available to let at Antura through agents Strutt & Parker and London Clancy.
