LONDON-RVB Investments is to forward fund the Midas warehouse project at Fields End Business Park in the Dearne Valley Enterprise Zone in South Yorkshire for £4 million ($6.4 million).

Developer the Barnsley Miller Partnership–a joint venture between Miller Developments and Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council– is about to start work on the 67,000-sf building, which is is located between Junction 36 of the M1 motorway and Junction 37 of the A1(M). Completion is due mid-December 2003.

The development represents the largest speculative industrial scheme within the enterprise zone and is one of only two current developments of more than 50,000 sf in Yorkshire.
