Troan has been executive vice president of OCP since 1999. He will continue to oversee the three multi-use parks within OCP and Woodland Lakes, a mixed-use development in the east section of the city. The executive vice president position will not be filled.

Orlando Central Park Inc. has had only three presidents in its 39-year existence. Jim Brown, the first president, retired in 1993. John Smith succeeded Brown, and when Smith left for another business opportunity in early 1999, Troan took over the park's daily operations as executive vice president.

Land sales have contributed a large part of the revenue at both OCP and Woodland, Troan says. In 2002, aggregate land sales totaled $14.1 million.

Woodland Lakes is a 200-acre development within International Corporate Park. Besides OCP, Orlando Central Park Inc. includes Orlando Central Park South and South Park. About 400 national and international companies employ 30,000 workers at OCP.

Troan is an alumnus of Rollins College Crummer Graduate School in Winter Park, FL. He holds a board certified in corporate real estate designation from the International Development Research Council.
