Sporting the address of 3101 Wilson Blvd., the Hartford occupies a convenient spot just across the street form the Clarendon Metro Station in the heart of the city. "The Hartford is a terrific example of high quality development that supports the long-term goals of the community," Akridge president Matthew Klein explains in a statement on the topping out of the building. "The completion of the Hartford in February will secure Arlington's status as a premier business address."

Akridge is handling leasing activity for the office portion, and Madison is in charge of leasing up the retail space. The going rate for office digs at the Hartford is in the low $30 per-sf range, and retail space is being advertised at about $40 per-sf. According to Goode, there is already one retailer on board. "There are many amenities and features here that people don't often see in this area--immediate Metro access, restaurants and shopping within a short walk, and a first rate mixed-use development," Klein adds "Together these elements have created significant excitement in market and we look forward to announcing several leases in the near future.
