The company said it plans to build a 75,000-sf manufacturing facility in Livingston Commerce Center in Howell Township. The new commerce center, located across the road from the Livingston County Airport near the M-59 / I-96 interchange, opened earlier this year. It is being developed by Brivar Construction Co.
Ultra will use the facility to manufacture aluminum fencing for residential and industrial use, including custom gates, cantilever gates and swimming pool entrances. The project will create about 25 jobs.
The financing for the project was secured through the assistance of the Michigan Economic Development Corp.
