The complex, known as Bella Via, is currently 65% complete. Situated at 1608 India St., it will encompass a total of 74,000 sf at build-out, which is currently scheduled for October of this year. The property will house a total of 42 condominium units, along with 3,700 sf of street-level retail and an underground parking garage.

Bella Via has been designed by project architect Cindy Blair and principal designer Frank Woldon of Carrier Johnson, with Wimmer Yamada and Caughey serving as the landscape architect. Design team consultants include Hope Engineering and Testing Engineers. Locally based Roel Construction is building the mixed-use development, with Michael Gray acting as representative for Bella Via Associates.

The new Bella Via complex is just one of multiple mixed-use projects rising in the city as it continues to be a hot bed of new development. Downtown, in particular, has attracted droves of developers, as the Downtown Renaissance shows no signs of slowing.
