Miami Beach-based Karlton Properties, whose principals are Fredric N. Karlton, Daniel Rotenberg and Gavriel Naim, is the project's developer. Fortune International is the project's exclusive sales and marketing company and its president, Edgardo Defortuna, anticipates selling out quickly after the sales center opens.
Those who have signed on the dotted line so far include international buyers as well as local buyers looking for a second home on the beach.
The project is located at 6917 Collins Ave. on Miami Beach. The Collins originally was designed by Morris Lapidus in 1970. It is currently being renovated and only the original shell of the building is being preserved.
The project offers 14 floor plans. The one- and two-bedroom homes range from 850 sf to 1,360 sf and are priced between the $250,000s and $550,000.
