ROCHESTER HILLS, MI-Phase I of the addition to and renovation of the Rochester Hills city hall has been completed, said DeMattia Group of Plymouth, MI, which is serving as the construction manager on the project.

The first phase included a 34,000-sf addition to the existing facility on Avon Road, just west of Livernois. Phase II of the total $12.8 million project calls for the renovation of approximately 33,000 sf of the existing 35,000 sf. When completed, the building, originally constructed in 1980, will total 69,000 sf and be able to accommodate 170 workstations. The original facility was constructed to accommodate 70 workers. Now, 120 people work in the city hall.
