The store is scheduled to open next month. It will occupy an assemblage of previously vacant units, including the former Frank's Nursery space. With Kohl's opening, occupancy at the 220,000-sf center will exceed 85%.

Other Trainers Crossing tenants include Kmart, Staples and Sears Hardware. The center was built in the 1970s, and the owner is a partnership between Elkins Park, PA-based Highland Development and Valley Forge, PA-based Pineville Properties.

Jon Kushner and Trupert Ortlieb, senior partners of Conshohocken, PA-based Fameco Real Estate, represented Kohl's in this lease negotiation. Fameco is the exclusive broker for 64 shopping centers and retail properties in the tri-state area and manages more than two million sf of retail space in the Delaware Valley. Kohl's operates approximately 460 stores in 33 states.
