A four-person team of Transwestern's Bethesda, MD office executives--including Guy Copperthite, Drew Faha, Keith Foery, and Phillip McCarthy--will spearhead operations for the 18-year-old property.

The structure at 1801 Rockville, developed by LaSalle Investment Management Inc. and owned by Rockville Office LLC, has a 2004 assessed value of $34 million. It sits in close proximity to I-495 and I-270, and is currently leased up to 84% capacity. Tenants in the class A building include Clear Channel Communications, Learning Tree International, and PG&E Generating.

Copperthite describes 1801 Rockville as "an excellent property with strong ownership," and Keith Foery tells GlobeSt.com that space in the six-story building is being marketed at somewhere in the mid $20 per-sf range.
