The club opened in November 2001. Its original 13,000-sf design features three separate bars and 33 televisions, a cigar room, a multi-screen media area and six food areas and buffets. The expanded design will provide two additional granite buffet areas, a second carving station and additional seating for 200.

"The popularity of the Covisint Club Premium Seating program and the success of the Pistons created a need for more room," said Tom Wilson, president and CEO of Palace Sports and Entertainment."To continue the level of service our members had grown to expect, to allow them room to mingle and enjoy all the club has to offer, expansion became a priority."

PS&E ownership includes The Palace and DTE Energy Music Theatre. The organization also manages the Meadow Brook Music Festival on the campus of Oakland University. Combined, PS&E's Michigan venues average 300 events and 3.5 million guests annually.
