Malvern, PA-based Liberty Property Trust owns Renaissance Park, which boasts on-site daycare, food service and a jogging trail. Joseph Conwell, first vice president, and Scott Miller of the Philadelphia office of CB Richard Ellis represented ATX in the transaction. Terms are undisclosed.

Conwell says, "Liberty . . . did a first class job of putting together a package that worked for ATX." The consensus among brokers at three suburban firms, who spoke to GlobeSt.com on condition of anonymity, is that the rental rate is probably between $23 per sf and $25.50 per sf in an area in which class-A buildings are asking as much as $27.65 per sf.

"This building allowed ATX to put the majority of its local operations under one roof in a state-of-the-art environment with room for additional growth," Conwell says. ATX has approximately 550 employees in Bala Cynwyd and Center City Philadelphia. It also has regional sales offices in Mt. Laurel, NJ, Newark, DE, and Allentown, PA.

"The move to Renaissance is indicative of our growth as well as our commitment to the Greater Philadelphia area as our home," says Jeff Coursen, COO of ATX's commercial division. The move is scheduled to take place in January 2004.
