Flight Control Company Leases at Vint Hill

FAUQUIER COUNTY, VA-Leading flight control system developer Athena Technologies Inc. has found a new home in two structures totaling 13,500 sf of space in the 695-acre mixed-use Vint Hill development, a one-time US Army Base. The move marks the company’s relocation from Manassas. While the terms of Athena’s leasing arrangement with property owner Zumot Real Estate Management Inc. are not readily available, Vint Hill Economic Development Authority marketing director Pat White tells GlobeSt.com that similar flex space in the area leases in the $12 to $14 per-sf range.

“Our steady growth and recent expansion necessitated a move to larger, more comprehensive facilities,” explains Athena CEO Dave Vos. “Not only are our new offices now large enough to adequately accommodate our employees but our new location also allows for onsite development and qualification of our product line.” The two structures will house Athena’s offices as well as manufacturing and R&D facilities.
