Founded in 1996, JRT provides tenant representation, leasing and sales brokerage and property management. The firm has more than five million sf in office and industrial properties nationwide. "JRT is the preeminent women-owned real estate firm," says Bruce Mosler, C&W's president, US operations.
"The business was growing and we needed a national platform," Jodi Pulice, founder and president of JRT, tells GlobeSt.com. The firm had a five-year alliance with Insignia/ESG that was terminated by the merger with CB Richard Ellis earlier this year. "Cushman and Wakefield has a very progressive program. They're a cutting edge real estate firm. I see continual growth for us. It's the best move."
JRT's clients include TIAA-CREF, the FDIC and the United Nations Federal Credit Union. The firm has won numerous awards, including the 2002 National Minority Business Council Outstanding Business of the Year. In addition, a team of JRT brokers was nominated for the 2001 REBNY "Deal of the Year" award.
"JRT brings experience and an impressive client base, making an already powerful Cushman & Wakefield-Concordis marketing platform even more so," adds Derrick Banks Mashore, executive managing director, corporate services, who heads the Concordis relationship for C&W.
JRT's membership in Concordis Real Estate, the largest national minority and women-owned real estate services corporate alliance, additionally will provide resources through the nine current members located in Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, New York, Oakland and Washington, DC.
"This is just natural for us," explains Pulice. "They understand what we do and are supportive."
