In one deal, Next Plumbing Supply inked a deal for 21,000 sf at the park. The company recently moved into its space and opened for business. In addition, Shoprider Health Care signed a lease for 13,000 sf and is currently having its tenant improvements constructed.

"Quiet Waters Business Park, with its proximity to Interstate 95 as well as the Sawgrass Expressway, is a great choice for tenants who want high-quality, functional, attractive space in a business park environment," says Andy Petry, a broker involved in both transactions. "We are very excited about the response we have received from the market" about the project, he says.Petry, senior vice president of Grubb & Ellis, represented the owner of the business park, which is a joint venture between Greystar and CIGNA, in the transactions.

The class A Quiet Waters Business Park is located at the intersection of Powerline Road and Southwest 10th Street, just north of Fort Lauderdale and south of Boca Raton. The park, which opened in 2002, has 353,000 sf of new industrial space in a 46-acre business park. When it is completed, the park will have 670,000 sf of distribution, light manufacturing and flex/office space.
