The retailer, which specializes in the sale, repair and rental of skateboards, snowboards and surfboards, plans to open its Poway location in October of this year. Its new store will stand at 12630 Poway Rd. in the retail center, according to the terms of the 78-month, $620,916 agreement.

John Jennings, Robert Ippolito and Peter Bethea of Burnham Real Estate Services ONCOR International acted on behalf of K-5 Board Shop. Lessor Spa Holdings LLC was represented by the same Burnham brokerage team.

Spa Holdings LLC acquired Poway Plaza in 1999 as part of a four-property portfolio that it purchased for $44.3 million. Located at 12622-12666 Poway Rd., the 74,060-sf complex is anchored by a 40,657-sf LA Fitness and 18,160-sf Rite Aid.
