Arrowhead Development of Dallas, GA plans Mulberry Township, a mixed-use project on 340 acres in southwest Paulding that will include 48,000 sf of commercial and office space and about 700 homes, according to preliminary plans filed with the commission. The development, on Mulberry Rock Road at Billy Bullock Road, is expected to be completed in seven years.

BridgeMill developers Don Davis and Brett Blevins plan Towne Mill, a 431-acre, 575 townhome and single-family community with undetermined commercial space near Canton in Cherokee County. Canton officials expect to annex the site after the developers break ground in 2004. The project, on Fate Conn Road west of Interstate 575, will take about 10 years to complete.

Also in Paulding County, locally based Cousins Properties Inc. and Temple-Inland Inc. of Austin, TX plan Seven Hills, a 1,830-acre, 2,189-hom residential-commercial joint venture that would have 77 acres of offices, stores and schools next to Cousins' 1,700-home Bentwater subdivision already under construction.
