Hundreds Expected at RealShare New York

NEW YORK CITY-More than 400 attendees are expected at today’s RealShare New York at the Roosevelt Hotels. The day-long conference is produced by Real Estate Media Inc., the parent organization of GlobeSt.com. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with industry heavy hitters as well as listen to a number of informative panel discussions and one-on-one interviews. Some of the issues to be discussed include the economy, job growth, the Lower Manhattan market and development projects in the outer boroughs.

Jonathan A. Schein, president/CEO, Real Estate Media, GlobeSt.com, will introduce Doug Shorenstein, chairman & CEO of Shorenstein Co., who will tackle the tough questions about the issues facing the industry. Marc Michael Goloven, senior regional economist, JP Morgan Chase, will discuss whether better times are ahead on the economy front. A town hall session featuring industry heavyweights will pose the question: Is recovery around the corner for the New York City market? Topics to be discussed include the Downtown market, Brooklyn and new development in the five boroughs.

CB Richard Ellis’s CEO, New York Metro Region Mary Ann Tighe will be spotlighted in a rare one-on-one sitdown. Introduced by Michael G. Desiato, editor-in-chief, Real Estate Media, she will share her insights on the market, what the future holds in store for the recently merged CBRE in New York, as well as reflect on her career.
