Ocado, which operates in partnership with Waitrose and is part-owned by the John Lewis Partnership, already has a 27,406 sq m (295,000 sq ft) distribution centre at Hatfield Business Park. It has now agreed to take a 10-year lease on 12,057 sf in the Triton Court phase of the park at £17.50 ($27.50) per sq ft.
And T-Mobile, one of the park's major occupiers, has confirmed that it will move into the 68,000-sf Building 6 at Communiqué, its 463,000-sf purpose-built campus, after dropping plans to sublet space.
Strutt & Parker and CBRE advised Arlington. Ashley Griffiths of Strutt & Parker's national office agency team said: "The Hertfordshire office market is showing encouraging signs of stability with companies previously seeking to sublet taking space back of the market.
