American Financial Center Renamed U.S. Bank Center

BLOOMINGTON, MN-U.S. Bank gets naming rights on signing a lease for 85,000 sf at the building owned by United Properties

BLOOMINGTON, MN-U.S. Bank has renamed the former Firstar Financial Center as U.S. Bank Center after getting the naming rights when it expanded and renewed its leased with building owner United Properties. The 155,000 sf office building is located just west of the I-494 and Cedar Avenue intersection at 1550 E. 79th St.

“The new name accurately reflects the tradition of this building being known as one of the centers for financial services companies in the south Twin Cities metro area,” said Dan Gleason, a VP with Bloomington, MN-based United Properties.

United Properties, which also leases and manages the building, recently completed a major renovation, including a redesign of the lobby area, to reposition it as a Class A property. The building has underground and covered parking, a big plus in a state known for its long winters and heavy snows.
