The Richard Rogers Partnership is the masterplan architect and Chapman Taylor will handle the retail elements of the scheme. At the same time Stanhope has been appointed as lead development manager while London & Amsterdam will be responsible for delivering the retail phases of the scheme.

Drivers Jonas is Planning Consultant while Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Baker is Development Consultant.

The scheme will be developed in a number of phases. It will include an additional 604,625 sf of new unit shops and department stores; 467,400 sf of offices; 950 new homes and 118,606 sf of new leisure facilities, cafes and bars.

Work over the next few months will focus on development of the masterplan and preparation of a planning application.
