BRIGHTON, CO–United Facilities Inc. of Peoria, IL, is constructing a 300,300-sf, $7 million distribution center warehouse at the Bromley Interstate Business Park on the east side of this town northeast of Denver. United Facilities owns and operates nine regional distribution centers with a total of more than 4.5 million sf of storage in four states.The Brighton Interstate Business Park is being developed by the Bromley Cos. on 176 acres bordering Interstate 76 on the east side between Bromley Lane and Bridge Street in Brighton. Bromley Cos. also is developing the 8,000-home Bromley Park residential community west of I-76.
The United Facilities building will be built on 16.4 acres in the Business Park, with an option on a 4.3-acre adjacent site, which could be used to expand the building to a total of 475,000 sf.
Bromley Metropolitan District #6 is constructing a 2,200-sf rail spur from the adjacent Burlington Northern Santa Fe line with an additional 750 feet of track to bring rail service to the United Facilities building. The warehouse is being built with six rail car doors and 42 truck docks for loading products for regional distribution.
