According to Kevin Smith, general manager of The New Yorker, the hotel offers students several amenities including the use of the business and fitness centers. Students will also benefit from round-the-clock security and access to the Tick Tock, a 24-hour diner on the hotel's ground floor. EHS is also installing high-speed Internet access to each of the rooms it has leased, which are on the 27th through the 29th floors. It has also installed a computer center on the 28th floor and a student lounge on the 29th. Rates for the students' rooms range from $8,000 for a double room to $12,000 for a large single room. Rates are based on a nine-month school year.

"EHS represents students from a variety of universities, and our new space at the New Yorker Hotel is helping us meet the tremendous demand for affordable housing in a very accessible location," says George Scott, founder and president of EHS.
