Elro Plans Major New Shopping Center Near Lakeside Mall

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI-An upscale shopping center plan has been added to the $500 million mixed-use project at Partridge Creek Golf Course in this Detroit suburb. Although an exact plan has not been announced, it will be located only a mile east of the Lakeside mall.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI-Troy-based Elro Corp. says it will develop an upscale shopping center on M-59 here. While an exact plan has not been announced, the developers say the project will be similar to the Village of Rochester Hills, a 375,000-sf open air center in the Oakland County community.

Developers say the shopping center will be constructed on M-59 (Hall Road) between Garfield and Romeo Plank roads, not far from Lakeside mall, in the next five to 10 years.

The shopping center will be the finishing touch on a $500 million mixed-use project at Partridge Creek Golf Course here. The plan includes about 1,500 condominiums, homes and a 300-room senior housing complex to be built over the next five years. Elro is partnering with locally based Trinity Land Development on the project.
