At Homart, Oliaro participated in the development of five million sf of retail in the Southeast. He also has served as an independent consultant to the retail development community.

"He is widely recognized as a leader in the retail industry, both among the retail development community and with anchor store real estate executives," says Maloney. He is counting on Oliaro's 20 years in the industry to "play a key role in advancing both the leasing efforts and development projects at our shopping centers."

Oliaro holds a master's in education degree from the University of Georgia and a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Illinois. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, a licensed real estate broker and serves on the board for the Boys and Girls Club of Hall County.
