One Columbus Center Wins Over Law Firm

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA-One Columbus Center has made room for a new tenant with law firm Hancock, Daniel, Johnson & Nagle’s signing of a lease on nearly 3,000 sf of space at the property. The medical malpractice and healthcare legal concern committed to five years at its new locale. Space in the 134,000-sf One Columbus Center building leases for $20 per sf. Located within the mixed-use Town Center of Virginia development, One Columbus Center was developed two decades ago, and, at 11 stories high, it carries the distinction of being the first class A high-rise office structure in all of Virginia Beach.

“It is an additional office for Hancock Daniel,” Divaris director of marketing Dona L. Hall tells GlobeSt.com. “They are headquartered in Richmond, but have two other satellite locations in addition to this Virginia Beach office, which would make this the fourth office for the firm.” Divaris Real Estate Inc. represented the interests of the tenant, as well as those of property owner Columbus Tower LLC. Other occupants at One Columbus Center include the likes of Divaris Real Estate itself, Bank of America, Paine Webber, Pioneer Title, and law firm Wolcott, Rivers, Wheary, Basnight and Kelly.
