Kennedy Wilson president Jim Rosten says Karen Stromme will spearhead the property management and real estate related services for the local office while continuing to oversee the management and leasing of the company's Northern California and Nevada portfolio of office, retail and industrial properties. She will team with Richard Muhlebach, the company's senior managing director in Seattle, says Rosten.

Kennedy Wilson is a strategic investor and manager of value-added and core portfolio investments, including commercial properties, apartments and discounted notes, both in partnership with institutional investors and in wholly owned projects. The company's new office is located at 2905 SW First Ave.

Stromme was not immediately available for comment on how much time she will be spending in the city given her other commitments. She joined Kennedy Wilson in 1998, when the firm acquired R&B Commercial Real Estate Services, for which Stromme was the principal in charge of the Northern California and Pacific Northwest regions.

Most recently, Stromme was awarded the exclusive management and leasing assignment for the SCI Investment's 600,000-sf Las Vegas commercial portfolio as well as 101 Convention Center Drive, a 300,0000-sf class A office building also in Las Vegas.
