BEA Systems Agrees 10-year Lease in High Wycombe

LONDON-Software group BEA Systems has regeared its holdings on the Kingsmead Business Park in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. It has a new over-riding lease on the 41,954-sf Windsor Court at pounds 1.06 million ($1.765 million) per annum.

LONDON-Software company BEA Systems has taken a 10-year lease on the 41,954 sf Windsor Court on the Kingsmead Business Park in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. The agreement supersedes a previous five-year lease, due to expire in 2005, under which BEA was the tenant of the ground and first floor, while National Starch & Chemical had a lease on the second floor.

The new letting, worth £1.06 million ($1.76 million), hands an over-riding lease for the whole of Windsor Court to BEA, which has simultaneously completed a new sub-letting to National Starch & Chemical on part of the second floor. The deal represents a headline figure of £24 ($40) per sf with an initial rent-free period of four months.
