Miller Construction Starts $5M Hospital Project

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL-The firm, which recently finished more than $20 million in projects at Holy Cross Hospital here, now is building out two cardiac catheterization labs at the hospital's Jim Moran Heart & Vascular Center.

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL-Miller Construction Co.’s Healthcare Group has recently completed two projects totaling more than $20 million and has begun another $5 million project, all at Holy Cross Hospital here.

Miller has finished a multi-phase renovation and expansion of the hospital’s emergency department and operating rooms. The four-year, $4.5 million emergency department quasi design/build expansion project tripled the size of the emergency treatment facilities at the hospital to more than 20,000 sf. Currently, the hospital has 35 treatment rooms, compared with 17 originally, a dedicated X-ray room and other diagnostic spaces.
