The seller of 913 Westheimer Rd. is Manfred F. Jachmich and the buyers are Monte Tinkham and Stuart Kensinger. The building, sitting on an 8,500-sf tract inside the Loop, is appraised at $231,500 on the 2003 tax rolls, according to the Harris County Appraisal District. H. Dan Miller and Maggie Ogilvie, both in the Houston office of CB Richard Ellis Inc., represented buyer and seller.

Miller tells GlobeSt.com that the property was not on the market although it was under contract a few years ago and then the deal crumbled. Miller, knowing the property could be had, introduced Tinkham and Kensinger to the seller.

The 14-year-old building was constructed for the restaurant chain, but the lease was set to expire in early 2004. Miller says a new deal was cut, opening the door for a closing in 60 days.

Jachmich is a well-known Houston restaurateur. Tinkham, now an independent broker, previously worked for CB Richard Ellis. He and Kensinger own several retail properties around town, according to Miller.
