Unfinished Furniture Makes Itself at Home in Colonial Square

COLONIAL HEIGHTS, VA-The 175,000-sf Colonial Square Shopping Center has added a new tenant to its roster with Brecher Corp.’s recent signing of a lease for nearly 9,500 sf of space. Brecher took on the space to house the store, Unfinished Furniture. The furnishings and home accessories outlet becomes the new neighbor of Blockbuster and center anchors, Dollar Tree, Peebles and Ukrop’s Super Market.

“We have some space left available, 2,400 sf, so the center is nearly 99% leased,” Divaris’s Brenda Martin tells GlobeSt.com. Divaris handles leasing and management activities at Colonial Square on behalf of property owner Colonial Square Associates LLC. Space at the retail destination leases for about $16 to $18 per sf.
