Miller and RBoS Lodge Planning Application on 7.4M-SF Omega Site

LONDON-Omega Warrington--a joint venture between Miller Developments and The Royal Bank of Scotland--together with landowner English Partnerships, has submitted an outline planning application for the first two phases of the pounds 1 billion ($1.65 billion) Omega development near Warrington.

LONDON-The first planning application has been lodged for the Omega site near Warrington. Miller Developments and Royal Bank of Scotland have joined forces with English Partnerships to master plan 7.4 million sf of development including 5.6 million sf of offices supported by manufacturing; distribution; residential, retail and leisure uses.

The planning application covers the initial two phases totalling 1.8 million sf of industrial and distribution space to the north of the site and 1.4 million sf of office space to the south. The first two phases alone are expected to be developed over a 10-year period and may include some leisure and ancillary retail space tomeet the needs of occupiers.
