Construction on the project, which is being built by general contractor Roel Construction Co., began in November 2002. Designed by Martinez & Cutri, the development will consist of 48 luxury units housed in a total of five buildings upon completion. All of the project's condo structures are being constructed of steel and concrete, with two facilities standing four stories high and the other three buildings standing three stories high. Units will range from 2,300 sf to 3,420 sf, with base plan prices varying from $1,189,900 to $1,929,900. Back in August, Centex Homes reported that more than 70% of Montefaro's available residences had sold.
The finished Montefaro complex is expected to reflect an Italian coastal theme, with lush landscaping, wrought iron gates, stone walls, outdoor lighting and fountains. Amenities will include a recreation center, pool, gym, spa, barbecue area, individual storage rooms and 121 parking spaces.
In addition to Roel Construction Co. and Martinex & Cutri, a number of subcontractors are working on the project. They include Fontana Steel, International Iron Products, Collins Plumbing, Helm Corp. and Bergelectric.
