Orlando Auto Auction Buys 13 Acres, Leases 13 More

LONGWOOD, FL-Orlando Auto Auction bought the former Honda dealership property on US 17-92 in this suburban community for $3.1 million and also leased 13 contiguous acres with an option to buy the dirt at a later date. The total deal is valued at $5 million.

LONGWOOD, FL-AutoNation USA has relocated its Honda dealership to Rinehart Road in Sanford, FL and sold the 13-acre site along US 17-92 in this Orlando suburb to Orlando Auto Auction for 3.1 million. Orlando Auto Auction leased an adjacent 13-acre parcel with an option to buy. The two deals are valued at $5 million.

The buyers, William Nuckolls and Terry Taylor, plan to open a wholesale auto auction for dealers only on the former Honda property in January.

William Parke, senior vice president, Carter & Associates, and Carter associate Sher Tolan represented AutoNation. Parke tells GlobeSt.com the option price will be disclosed when the second phase of the deal is completed. “The purchase of the properties will exceed $5 million,” Parke adds.
