The Navisys Group, with its office at One City Centre, is comprised of Clint Harrington, Peyton Collins, Bill Jansen, Mike Sweatt, Jerald King, and Jeff Stringer. Harrington, the president, says the past year has been spent in developing the boutique firm and placing the team. Save for Jansen, the others came on board in May from the former Insignia/ESG's Houston office.
Collins, senior managing director. tells GlobeSt.com that the firm is a separate operating company, fully owned by McCord. The operation is debuting with a three-million-sf portfolio, of which about one-third belongs to McCord. In addition to One City Centre, the 89%-leased portfolio includes Travis Tower, Pin Oak Office Park, Norfolk Tower, First Capital Bank Building, One West Belt, Park on the Bayou and 1900 Yorktown.
The new firm's name was chosen because "we work by 'navigating' through proven leasing and management 'systems' to increase the value of our clients' assets," Harrington said in a press release.
