The Avion complex is scheduled to rise at the corner of 15th and Market streets in close proximity to the recently completed Market Square Manor and Market Street Village projects. Designed by Austin Veum Robbins & Parshalle, Avion is slated to house 65 condominium units, 76 parking spaces and 3,677 sf of retail space. Plans call for an eight-story, 90-ft development with units priced at market rate.
Centex Homes is moving forward with Avion as it wraps up construction on its Montefaro complex, which is rising on Girard Avenue in La Jolla. This $25-million project is slated for a March 2004 completion. At build-out, it will consist of 48 luxury units housed in five buildings. Units will range from 2,300 sf to 3,420 sf, with base plan prices varying from $1.2 million $1.9 million.
