PacTrust intends to spend $3 million to convert the 90,000-sf property into a multi-tenant office/warehouse facility. Manekin officials tell GlobeSt.com that the project is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of next year.
Located at 6200 Columbia Park Rd. in the Cabin Branch Distribution Center, the former milk plant, which Safeway abandoned a decade ago, sits in a desirable location near Fed Ex Field. Upon completion, the Michael Cos. will handle leasing responsibilities at the nearly 40-year-old property. For Manekin, the new state-of-the-art facility represents its fourth such project in the Cabin Branch business park.
