ATLANTA-Banking on near-future demand for mixed-use product in the suburbs, the Griffin Co. plans to break ground in first quarter 2004 on a 10-story and six-story building that will house a total 347,500 sf of office, 22,500 sf of retail and 130 townhomes in Sandy Springs near the Abernathy Road exit of GA 400.

The locally based developer awaits an OK from the Atlanta Regional Commission which confirms it is reviewing tentative plans on the project at the site of the former Perimeter Ford dealership at Barfield Road and Mount Vernon Highway.
