With the assistance of real estate firm the Staubach Co., NCI secured a 10-year lease on the space in Plaza America IV. Financial terms of that deal are not available, but office space at Plaza America goes for about $27 to $30 per sf.

"We originally started off looking at 62 buildings," NCI director of corporate facilities Sandy Smith tells GlobeSt.com. "We were looking for ease of access for our employees and area amenities for our in-house staff and visiting staff." Further explaining the broad range of choices currently available in the local market, NCI vice president of human resources administration Norm Pierce adds, "We found ourselves in a very fortuitous trough that allowed us to do a lot we would not have been able to do before."
