PHOENIX-A leading Southern California maker of dialysis products has moved into the metro market with the $2.4-million acquisition of a two-building, 107,000-sf office/ warehouse complex for its expanded production operation.

Discount Medical Supply, a distributor of Diasol products, will make the 310 S. 43rd Ave. property its new metro-area regional headquarters when it moves into 47,000 sf in November, Skip Corley Jr., with Daum Commercial Real Estate Services tells GlobeSt.com. The rest of the property is leased to Team Two Design, a furniture manufacturer.

Corley said the property, set on six acres at 43rd Avenue and Van Buren Street, was on the market about four months when Discount Medical, looking for a cheaper place to operate outside California, made an offer to White Brothers Investments of Phoenix, through entity Sunnyvale Properties LLC, which is comprised of DMS principals. “It was the square footage they needed at a price that was very cost effective,” he says. “They can get a better bang for their buck here.”
