Advantis stood in for the tenants, while CB Richard Ellis represented the owner. "Sands Capital has experienced explosive growth due to their superior investing results," Advantis's Bruce McNair says of Sands Capital's decision to relocate to larger digs.

The Twin Towers property was developed in the late 1980s and sports ground level retail space leased to tenants such as CVS, and Federal Express. Other office tenants include Allbritton Communications Co., research and consulting firm SRI International, and the US Department of Labor's Office of the Regional Solicitor. Sands Capital's space is on the top floor of the 30-story tower.
