McNeeley, who joins current board members Harold Sadler, Harold Johnson, Victor Vilaplana, Jennifer L. LeSar, Julie Dillon and Wayne Raffesberger, brings more than three decades of banking experience and numerous years of community relationship building to the organization. An employee of San Francisco-based Union Bank of California since 1968, he has served in his current position of senior vice president and manager of the bank's Corporate Community Development Division for the past 15 years. His present duties also include responsibility for the bank's Community Advisory Board, acting as secretary to its Public Policy Committee and chairing the Community Reinvestment Act Investment Advisory Committee. In addition, he is a member of the CRA Community and the Community Banking and Investment Services Group Management Committee.
In addition to his longstanding professional presence, McNeeley has also cultivated deep-rooted ties to numerous philanthropic causes. He is the immediate past chairman for the United Negro College Fund of San Diego County and the National Conference for Community and Justice in San Diego. He has also served in leadership roles for numerous other professional and community organizations including the Equity Community Advisory Council at San Diego State University and the Community Reinvestment Committee of the Consumer Bankers Association.
