The five-year, $1 million-deal brings the occupancy in Phase I at Airlogistics to 85%, Jeff Nickol, executive vice president, Republic Property Co., tells GlobeSt.com. Nickol and Jake Owen of USI handled the transaction. Republic owns Airlogistics Centers.

"The airport market in Atlanta is picking up dramatically," says Nickol. As an example, he cites PSI's new 61,000-sf lease signed with Julian Brown at Lincoln's Buffington center.

Delta Technologies will operate the new facility with about 40 employees. The group is relocating from a Delta site on the tarmac at Hartsfield International Airport. The average asking base rent at Airlogistics Center is $5 per sf, triple net.
