Lockheed Locks in on Site for $30M Facility

SUFFOLK, VA-After giving a few other states consideration, Bethesda, MD-headquartered Lockheed Martin has decided to establish its new integrated solutions center in the 400-acre Bridgeway Commerce Park. The company will spend $30 million to get the 50,000-sf office development up and running. This newest facility will bring Lockheed’s number of locations in the state up to 125.

Located off I-664, Bridgeway Commerce Park sits in a convenient spot that serves as a junction of sorts between the South Hampton Roads area and the Virginia Peninsula. The business compound is surrounded by the likes of Tidewater Community College, the US Atlantic Command Joint Training, Analysis and Simulation Center, the US Joint Forces Command Joint Warfighting and Experimentation Centers, and Virginia Modeling and Simulation Center.
