Available information will include rental rates, space availability and eight years of historical performance. The association and consulting firm also will team on the production of office and industrial market reports.

"This cooperative agreement will provide Houston real estate brokers with alternatives for premium market information," said Fred Baca, HAR's commercial advisory board chairman and president for Colliers International's Houston office. "By combining the resources of these organizations, Houston brokers will have access to higher quality information and lower cost solutions."

The 17,000-member HAR is the largest trade organization in Houston. Its Commercial Gateway database provides locally controlled information on "for sale" or "for lease" properties.

O'Connor & Associates, led by Patrick O'Connor, is a real estate valuation and consulting firm with 93 employees. The firm's database provides leasing information, ownership, contact information and eight years of historical performance.
