Town Approves 426-Unit Adult Community

PINE HILL, NJ-The Pine Hill Partners project in South Jersey, which will include a 40,000-sf retail center, will be located adjacent to Pine Valley Golf Club, considered by aficionados to be the top golf course in the country.

PINE HILL, NJ-The local planning and zoning boards have awarded preliminary and final site plan and subdivision approval to Pine Hill Partners for the Lakes at Pine Hill, an active adult community of 426 homes. Straddling the Camden and Burlington County border in South Jersey, the site is adjacent to Pine Valley Golf Club, considered by many experts to be the top golf course in the US.

The approvals effectively change the site’s zoning from business development to residential. The project itself consists of a village section of mid-rise condominium buildings and an estates section of single-family patio homes. The mix is heavily tilted toward the condo component, with 375 of the total number of homes in that category.

Also in the works is a 40,000-sf retail complex to service the residential component. The shopping center will be the subject of a future approval process. No price tag has been announced for the overall project.
