Boating Destination to Benefit from $8M Upgrade

MILLSBORO, DE-The Indian River Marina is in store for $8 million in upgrades and renovations. Kuhn Construction Co. will, among other things, add a storage facility and 11,000 sf of rental dwellings to the property.

MILLSBORO, DE-Located in Sussex County along Indian River Bay and Rehoboth Bay in the nearly 3,000-acre Delaware Seashore State Park, the Indian River Marina has readied itself for an approximately $8 million makeover. The property of the State of Delaware for over three decades, the marina had fallen into disarray over the last several years.

“This project is more than just a drystack and new docks,” Delaware Gov. Ruth Ann Minner notes. “This project represents progress, progress that marina users have wanted and deserved for some time.”
