SEDONA, AZ-A group of Sedona residents are trying to block construction of a 90-unit condominium complex planned for the community, claiming the two-story condos will harm native vegetation, cause traffic problems and affect views of the area’s famous Red Rocks.

Sedona residents Robert Brookshire and Linda Nicholas, who claim to represent about 20 residents in the Foothills South development, have asked Sedona City Council to reconsider a recent planning board decision that gave the green light to developer Miller Brothers’ proposal to build the 14-building Park Place Condominiums on nine acres at Highway 89A and Bristlecone Pines Drive.
