In September 2002, following bankruptcy filings by two major clients, K-Mart and Service Merchandise, Meadowcraft itself filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. As part of its reorganization, Meadowcraft has hired New York-based Keen Realty and locally based Graham & Company Inc. to dispose of its hometown facility, which sits on 47.8 acres.

The facility consists of approximately 34,110 sf of office space and one million sf of production space. Ceiling heights range from 28 ft to 29 ft. The facility includes three grade level doors and approximately 45 dock-high doors. No asking price has been released and none of the parties involved could immediately be reached for comment Wednesday.
