Miller Construction Forms HealthCare Division

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL-Locally based Miller Construction Co. has formed a new division to give time- and cost-effective solutions to healthcare providers that need to expand services and update technology, either on their existing sites or on new sites.

James F. Smith, who has managed more than $1 billion in healthcare design and construction projects worldwide during his 30-year career, has joined the new division, Miller Healthcare Services, as a principal. Smith, a registered professional engineer, has senior-level expertise in the business and technical aspects of healthcare facility planning, programming, design and construction. He has experience in the public and private sectors in 17 states and other countries.
